Job Description:

Join a dedicated surgical team on a 13-week travel assignment performing post-operative and complex wound care duties in Urbana, Illinois. This role involves managing patients with complex surgical needs, including caring for new tracheostomies, wounds requiring wound vacs, and educating patients and families on ostomies. You'll be responsible for initial patient assessments, developing and updating care plans, and ensuring safety protocols are meticulously followed. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing comprehensive care during critical recovery phases and collaborating closely with surgical resident teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to hone your surgical postoperative skills in a supportive and professionally enriching environment.
