Job Description:

This contract offers an engaging opportunity for a registered nurse to work on a 43-bed advanced care unit specializing in post-general surgery and stable cardiac telemetry patients. You'll be responsible for managing patient care within a team nursing model, often collaborating with LPNs and PCTs to ensure efficient and effective treatment. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a focus on titratable drug management including insulin and cardiac drips, alongside interpreting EKG strips and following protocols for high-risk respiratory care. Be prepared to float between units, including high-risk respiratory and COVID support, and contribute to a supportive patient care environment in a level 1 or 2 hospital setting. This role is ideal for experienced nurses comfortable working in fast-paced, high-acuity environments with some weekend and holiday shifts required.
