Job Description:
This RN role in inpatient rehab is focused on specialized care for patients recovering from strokes, surgeries, and neurological conditions. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts, providing direct support to a specific patient ratio of 1:6. The assignment involves tasks like interpreting lab results, managing medication reconciliation, performing dressing changes using aseptic techniques, and conducting capillary and specimen labeling. Expect to be involved in telephone triage and patient refill requests, all while navigating a busy inpatient rehab setting where attention to detail and adaptability are essential. Unique to this opportunity is the requirement to float between various Cone Health campuses as needed, offering a chance to experience different inpatient environments while applying your acute care rehab expertise.
