Job Description:

Join our team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in a bustling 600+ bed facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This 13-week contract offers the chance to float across general medical and surgical units, caring for a diverse patient population with conditions ranging from COPD and Diabetes to neurological and mental health issues. You'll be managing assessments, care plans, IV therapies, wound care, and procedures like colonoscopies and minor surgeries—think of it as a practical adventure in acute care nursing. The role requires attention to detail and adaptability, as you will utilize tools like Epic EHR, IV pumps, telemetry, and more. With 12-hour night shifts and a typical patient ratio of 1:5-6, you'll have the chance to hone your skills while working in a supportive environment that values your expertise.
