Job Description:

Join a busy cardiothoracic and vascular surgical team performing approximately 45 cases daily in a non-trauma teaching hospital located in Charlotte, NC. As a surgical technologist in this CVOR-focused contract, you will assist during complex procedures such as CABG, TAVR, lobectomies, vascular bypasses, and robotic resections. The role offers the chance to work in a well-equipped OR with 13 main rooms plus a procedure/Cysto room, supporting a variety of intricate surgeries. You'll be expected to circulate in various case types, including cardiothoracic, vascular, and thoracic, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. The assignment features 10-hour day shifts, with a 40-hour weekly commitment, and orientation spans five days. Experience with EPIC electronic medical records, recent case support, and strong familiarity with cardiovascular cases will help you excel. This is a great opportunity for experienced surgical techs eager to expand their expertise in a fast-paced cardiac surgical environment.
