Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract positions a cardiac telemetry nurse to work on the 5th floor of Owen Heart Center in Asheville, North Carolina. You'll primarily be caring for patients with conditions such as CHF, MI, arrhythmias, and post-cardiac procedures. The role involves managing titratable cardiac IV medications like nitroglycerine, amiodarone, and dopamine, among others. You'll work 12-hour day shifts, collaborating with a team that includes charge nurses, bedside nurses, PCTs, and administrative staff. This assignment offers an engaging opportunity to gain specialized experience in a specialized cardiac and stepdown unit, with the chance to handle a variety of cardiac-related procedures and advanced monitoring equipment.
