Job Description:

Join us for an exciting respiratory equipment technician role in Urbana, where you'll handle disassembly, cleaning, rinsing, drying, and packaging of respiratory devices. Your expertise will ensure all equipment is safe, functional, and ready for use in various patient care settings. You'll excel at evaluating the performance of respiratory therapy equipment, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions. This position involves accurate documentation in the EMR, including charting procedures, patient responses, and equipment charges. You'll also assist with blood gas analysis, assist with stock management of respiratory supplies, and support respiratory care assessments for patients in inpatient and emergency settings. If you enjoy working with technical equipment and ensuring vital respiratory therapies run smoothly, this role is a perfect fit.

Job Specifics:

Location: Urbana, Illinois
Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Duration: 13 weeks (36 hours per week)
