Job Description:

This labor and delivery assignment takes place at a rural community hospital in Hawaii, offering a unique opportunity to work closely with birthing patients in a supportive setting. The RN will be responsible for managing labor and delivery procedures, providing care to women during childbirth, and monitoring fetal well-being with intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring techniques. The schedule features 12-hour night shifts, totaling approximately 36 hours per week over a 13-week contract. Occasionally, the nurse may assist other departments and take on charge nurse duties, with additional compensation. This role is ideal for experienced maternity RNs eager to immerse themselves in a community-focused environment surrounded by stunning island landscapes.
