Job Description:

Join our team as an ICU Registered Nurse in a fast-paced oncology ICU that also manages MICU cases. This surgical unit specializes in thoracic procedures, skin flaps, chest tube care, and esophagectomies. You'll work with advanced systems like Tablo for dialysis patients, and support from pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, respiratory services, social workers, and administrative staff ensures a collaborative environment. Using Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR communication, you'll be an integral part of patient stabilization and care. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in a Level II trauma facility, with orientation provided and first-time travelers welcome. You will be responsible for managing complex ICU cases, interpreting dysrhythmias, administering medications, and supporting ventilated patients, all within a 12-hour shift structure and a typical ratio of 1:2.
