Job Description:

Join our cardiovascular operating room team as a CVOR RN for an engaging travel contract in Stockton, CA. You’ll be working in a busy OR setting with a focus on general, vascular, orthopedic, endoscopic, and urology surgeries, with a few heart cases thrown in for good measure. This assignment offers the opportunity to handle up to 10 operating rooms daily, providing a variety of cases that keep your skills sharp. All MYJOURNEY modules must be completed prior to arrival—failure to do so will delay your start, so don’t delay! You’ll work 12-hour day shifts, enjoying a steady weekly schedule of 36 hours, with a competitive gross weekly pay of approximately $2,885.48. The environment requires BLS and ACLS certifications; CNOR is preferred but not mandatory. Support staff, including a charge nurse, will be available to assist you, and floating outside the OR is not typically required. This is a fantastic chance to gain diverse case experience in a well-equipped facility in a vibrant city. Be prepared for early evening call shifts starting at 1830, with a minimum of two call nights per four-week schedule, and every second or third weekend coverage, which may shift to every third or fourth when fully staffed.
