Job Description:

Join the surgical team as a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) in a bustling level-one trauma center situated in Charleston. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a lively environment with 21 operating rooms covering diverse specialties such as trauma, transplant, neuro, ortho, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics. Your duties will include assisting in neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), robotics (Da Vinci Xi), and various other complex surgeries. The schedule consists of three 12-hour day shifts—from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.—with up to four call shifts monthly, including one weekend shift. You will be expected to float within scope to meet the unit’s needs and handle a variety of cases, making each day different and engaging. This role is perfect for someone with at least two years of OR tech experience, especially if you have experience with neuro or robotics surgeries. Certification in NBSTSA and a radiation badge are required, and proficiency in supporting a trauma-level 1 facility is necessary.
