Job Description:

Join this IMCU assignment in Utica, New York, where you'll be responsible for caring for adult patients with complex neurological, cardiac, and trauma conditions. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing specialized nursing support in a 64-bed unit that includes 15 dedicated neuro beds. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with patients suffering from COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, and post-op recovery, often utilizing equipment like temp pacers, chest tubes, A-lines, and Bipap machines. You'll experience the ebb and flow of an active ICU environment where floating between patients and units is expected, and your skills in EPIC electronic medical records will be crucial. This position is perfect for a nurse eager to apply their expertise in a fast-paced setting with a supportive team, all while contributing to patient recovery during each shift.
