Job Description:

This NICU RN contract offers the opportunity to care for neonatal patients in a high-acuity Level III facility. You will be working 12-hour night shifts, providing specialized care for critically ill newborns, including those on ventilators and with central lines. The role involves managing continuous and intermediate care, coordinating with a team of neonatologists, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and experienced neonatal transport services. The unit emphasizes adherence to AWHONN/NANN guidelines, with a focus on a balanced mix of care levels. Be prepared for occasional float assignments to other maternal or postpartum units, always with the goal of supporting healthy newborns and their families. This assignment is unique for its combination of challenging clinical work and the opportunity to work in a facility with extensive neonatal resources and 24/7 specialist access. Expect to help create a nurturing environment for the most vulnerable patients, all while maintaining a professional yet compassionate approach.
