Job Description:

Join a busy emergency department as an experienced ER RN on a 13-week night shift assignment. This role involves handling a diverse patient population with cases ranging from trauma and stroke to sepsis and STEMI. You'll be responsible for triaging, performing clinical skills such as PIV, NG/OG placement, splinting, and wound care, along with assisting with art line, central line, and chest tube placement. The night shift is focused and fast-paced, requiring quick assessments and effective teamwork to direct patients to appropriate beds and manage various emergency scenarios. This isn’t your average night — your skills will be vital in a facility that handles a high volume of urgent cases, and you’ll be on the frontline in a Level III trauma center that’s also a designated stroke and chest pain center.
