Job Description:

Join our team as a PACU Registered Nurse in a busy perioperative setting where you'll be the vital link ensuring patients transition smoothly from anesthesia to recovery. This role takes place in a hospital’s Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, offering the opportunity to work with both adult and pediatric patients who are recovering from a variety of major surgeries, including vascular, neuro, orthopedic, and trauma procedures. Your responsibilities will include monitoring vital signs, managing pain, administering medications, and recognizing airway complications—so a keen eye and quick response are essential. Expect day shifts of 12 hours, flexible start times in the morning, and situations that require you to be on call on some days. This assignment offers a chance to refine your critical care skills in a fast-paced environment, all while working in a hospital that values your expertise.
