Job Description:

This RN position on the Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units offers a challenging yet rewarding experience working with patients facing conditions such as acute respiratory failure, CHF, COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, and sepsis. Your skills in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, utilizing rapid response teams, and caring for patients with complex respiratory equipment like BIPAP, CPAP, ventilators, and trachs will be essential. The shift is night hours, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a 12-hour schedule that provides an opportunity to settle into a routine and deliver dedicated patient care during critical hours. The role emphasizes hands-on procedural skills such as phlebotomy and IV placement, which are required for all RNs at this facility. Expect to work alongside PCTs performing vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKGs, and activities of daily living. This assignment provides a chance to deepen clinical expertise in a fast-paced environment while enjoying a supportive team atmosphere.
