Job Description:

Join a busy operating room team as a travel RN specializing in open heart and cardiovascular surgeries in Amarillo, Texas. This role involves supporting cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures such as bypass grafts, valve replacements, carotid surgeries, and aneurysm repairs. You will assist both in scrub and circulating roles, providing critical support during complex surgeries. The schedule features 8-hour shifts from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with call responsibilities. This assignment is perfect for experienced CVOR nurses eager to hone their skills in a hands-on environment and work alongside dedicated healthcare professionals in a setting where patient safety and service excellence are prioritized. Candidates must have at least three years of CVOR experience and hold current licensure in Texas. Experience with Cerner systems and certification in PALS, BLS, and ACLS are required.
