Job Description:

Join a dedicated critical care team at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga for a 13-week contract working in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). This role offers 12-hour day shifts, giving you the chance to spend quality time outside of work exploring the vibrant city or relaxing in the nearby scenic areas. You'll be responsible for providing advanced critical care to post-open heart patients and responding to rapid changes in patient conditions, including codes blue. The position involves handling state-of-the-art equipment like Impella and Hemosphere monitoring platforms, as well as performing procedures such as intubations and CRRT. With a focus on teamwork and quick thinking, this assignment is ideal for experienced ICU nurses seeking to sharpen their skills in a supportive environment.
