Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse specializing in medical-surgical care on a float nursing contract at a large hospital. You'll be providing care across general medical and surgical units, managing patients with diverse diagnoses such as COPD, Diabetes, CHF, infections, neurological issues, and mental health conditions. Your focus will include assessments, care planning, medication administration, and utilizing equipment like IV pumps, wound vacs, and telemetry monitors. Experience in a facility with over 600 beds along with at least 1.5 years of tertiary-level nursing is required. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, including some weekends, with patient ratios around 1:5-6. This role offers the opportunity to experience a variety of patient conditions and procedures, including minor surgeries and diagnostics, all while being part of a supportive team that values your skills and adaptability.
