Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in Augusta, Georgia, where you'll be immersed in a hospital setting that handles a variety of adult to geriatric patient needs. This contract offers the chance to work 12-hour day shifts, giving you a well-balanced schedule of 36 hours per week over a two-week period. Your responsibilities will include caring for patients with diagnoses such as diabetes, post-op recovery, wound vacs, and bariatrics, all within a 33-bed unit utilizing Epic, Pyxis, and practiced with SBAR communication. With a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6, you'll collaborate with a team to deliver quality care, float within scope as needed, and experience the rhythms of a hospital that balances professional duties with approachable teamwork. The assignment is unique for its blend of medical-surgical and remote telemetry work, offering a comprehensive experience in adult and geriatric patient care.
