Job Description:

Join a specialized CVICU team in Aurora, where you'll be immersed in a high-stakes environment supporting critically ill adults undergoing complex cardiovascular procedures. This role involves working in a 17-bed ICU dedicated to advanced circulatory and respiratory support, including open-heart surgeries, ventricular assist devices, transplants, and ECMO. Expect to utilize a wide range of bedside modalities, from vasoactive medications to comprehensive cardio-pulmonary support. You'll work a 12-hour rotating night shift (19:00 - 07:30), with the opportunity to float between units based on patient needs. This position offers a dynamic setting where your skills directly impact patient outcomes, all within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that values holistic health and supportive education.
