Job Description:

Join a reputable short-term acute care facility as an Operating Room Registered Nurse, working primarily in general surgery, orthopedics, trauma, and plastics. This role features 12-hour day shifts from 06:30 to 19:00, with the opportunity to gain experience in a Level I Trauma Center and Magnet/Teaching hospital setting. The schedule includes 3 shifts per week over a 13-week period, with optional call duties that require responses within 45 minutes. Call shifts may extend into the late hours, offering a unique chance to experience high-stakes surgical environments. You will be responsible for circulating and scrubbing with a preference for scrub experience, and float to other ORs within the service line as needed. This assignment emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and precision, making it a rewarding challenge for experienced OR nurses who thrive under pressure.
