Job Description:

This registered nurse position focuses on caring for surgery patients, including colorectal, general surgery, hepatobiliary, and orthopedics/spine cases. You'll be working night shifts, anchoring the unit during hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a schedule of either 36 or 48 hours per week over a 13-week duration. The role involves hands-on skills like IV starts and telemetry monitoring, ensuring smooth patient flow and safety. Expect to occasionally float to other units and participate in self-scheduling based on unit needs, with a focus on maintaining solid patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Please note, the unit emphasizes strict scheduling rules, including no RTO after booking and no on-site work for additional time off.
