Job Description:

This registered nurse position involves providing care for surgical patients, including colorectal, general surgery, hepatobiliary, and orthopedics/spine cases. The role is tailored for night shifts, with 12-hour schedules from 18:45 to 07:15, and offers flexibility with 36 or 48 hours per week. Be prepared to work occasionally as a float and every other weekend, all while managing patient monitoring, IV starts, and telemetry tracking. This assignment is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy the challenge of surgical patient care. Keep in mind, RTO is not permitted after booking and cannot be worked out onsite; any additional RTO or call-offs might result in cancellation. The unit employs systems such as Pyxis, SBAR, and EPIC, with a 36-hour orientation to get you up to speed.
