Job Description:

Join us for a travel healthcare opportunity on a Medical-Surgical unit specializing in adult medical care. As a Registered Nurse on this 12-hour night shift, you'll be responsible for managing a diverse patient population with diagnoses such as cellulitis, sepsis, dehydration, and uncontrolled diabetes. You'll work alongside a dedicated team, utilizing skills like managing central lines and tracheostomies, with the added bonus of EPIC electronic medical record experience being preferred. Expect to navigate a busy but rewarding environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:4-6 during the night shift, with support from charge nurses and patient care techs. This assignment provides a chance to broaden your experience in acute care, with the reassurance that orientation is included and work is structured to foster professional growth. Be prepared to handle telemetry monitoring on Phillips monitors and perform tasks such as administering inhalers and suctioning, all while providing quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.
