Job Description:

Join a dedicated nursing team in a hospital setting for a 13-week night shift contract. You'll work 12-hour night shifts caring for patients with conditions like pneumonia, UTI, AMS, GI bleed, alcohol withdrawal, and falls or weakness. This role offers the chance to hone your skills in vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, EKGs, and applying heart monitors, with the added responsibility of managing titratable drips such as heparin, Bumex, and Lasix (with some drip titration exceptions). You'll collaborate with charge nurses and nurse aides, and while respiratory therapy handles equipment troubleshooting and treatments, your role will focus on monitoring and patient safety during your shift. The schedule requires flexibility and adaptability, including potential floating to different units and working every other weekend and holiday rotations. This assignment promises a hands-on experience in a busy hospital environment, where your expertise helps keep patients stable through the night.
