Job Description:

Join a team of skilled Surgical ICU nurses for a rewarding travel contract in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing specialized care to critically ill post-surgical and trauma patients in a Level II Trauma Center setting. You'll work 12-hour day shifts, with a schedule that includes three out of six weekends. This assignment offers the chance to apply your ICU expertise to complex cases involving trauma, transplant, vascular, GI, orthopedics, and neuro spine procedures. The focus is on those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable floating to similar ICU areas as needed. Expect to utilize your strong surgical ICU background, with a preference for candidates holding critical care certifications and trauma courses. Experience with EPIC electronic health records and ACLS is preferred. This is more than just a job—it's an opportunity to deepen your ICU skills while exploring the vibrant culture of Baltimore.
