Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers a chance to work in a fast-paced, Level 2 trauma ER located in Yuma, Arizona. As an ER nurse, you'll be involved in handling a wide variety of emergency cases, from trauma and STEMI to stroke interventions, with the opportunity to utilize your skills in a setting that ships out stroke patients quickly when intervention is needed. The role requires experience within the last two years in Level I or II trauma centers, and you'll be working 12-hour night shifts, providing crucial care during those quiet yet intense hours. Your expertise with Epic EMR and trauma protocols will be essential as you navigate interconnected treatment areas like fast track and quick look triage stations. Not only will you provide life-saving support, but you'll also have the chance to make a real impact in a facility with dedicated ER techs, RTs, and well-staffed MD/mid-level teams. The unique setting offers a chance to work with a variety of emergency cases, including gunshot wounds and stabbings, in a busy environment treating around 300 patients daily.
