Job Description:

Join the team at 19 James Medical Center as a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical and Oncology care during overnight shifts. This contract offers the chance to work with patients undergoing chemotherapy, diagnostic procedures, and symptom management related to malignancies. You'll handle tasks such as continuous cardiac monitoring, port access, arterial line management, and administering blood products—all with a heavy emphasis on infection prevention and fall risk management. The role involves operating advanced equipment like GE telemetry systems, Alaris pumps, and Stryker beds. Expect a fast-paced environment where your expertise in interpreting dysrhythmias, managing central lines, and assisting with chest tube procedures will shine. The assignment includes rotating 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), and flexibility to float within units is required. Prior travel experience and EPIC proficiency are highly valued, and this position adapts to the department’s staffing needs with potential schedule changes every four weeks.
