Job Description:

Join our team as a travel healthcare professional at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, Georgia, working 12-hour night shifts. This role involves providing primary care nursing to patients with a variety of high-acuity conditions typical of a large, fast-paced hospital setting. You will handle patient needs related to diabetic management, CHF, COPD, GI bleed, renal failure, dialysis, post-surgical overflow, amputations, wound care, DVTs, and behavioral health, among others. You won't be required to read strips but will assist with patient monitoring and support the clinical team. The assignment offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a high-acuity environment, with a focus on patient safety and quality of care. Expect to work with CNA staff, assist with patient safety measures, and adapt to a busy ICU or medical-surgical floor that emphasizes efficiency and teamwork. This contract encourages you to experience a dynamic hospital setting, with a focus on maintaining strict standards for attendance and professionalism.
