Job Description:

Join a Labor & Delivery team at UNC Health Pardee in Hendersonville, NC, for a 13-week travel contract working 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. This role requires a seasoned RN with at least five years of experience, specifically in Labor & Delivery and Triage. You will be immersed in a busy unit handling around 350 deliveries annually, providing care to a diverse patient population including moms, babies, GYN, and pediatric patients. The shift may include weekend rotations and some rotating holidays. Flexibility for float assignments and potential on-call responsibilities are part of the package. The ideal candidate is proficient in EPIC charting, with certifications like BLS, NRP, and NC license, and preferably PALS and ACLS. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to be part of a close-knit hospital that gracefully manages high patient volumes with relatively short stays while offering a supportive work environment that values experienced nurses who can hit the ground running.
