Job Description:

Join a dedicated ICU team in Columbus, Georgia, where you'll step into a role focused on adult to geriatric patients. This contract emphasizes managing a high volume of ventilators and arterial lines, with responsibilities including titration of continuous infusions such as sedation, pain medications, paralytics, and vasopressors. Night shift hours run from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, providing an engaging opportunity to lead multidisciplinary rounds each morning with a team that includes intensivists, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and other specialists. You'll be instrumental in transporting patients, assisting during codes, and supporting ICU care, often being the first call before the intensivist. Experience with the Baxter PrisMax machine for specific infusion management is required, and proficiency in Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR is essential. This role offers a balanced rotation with every other weekend off and floating within the facility as needed, fostering a flexible yet professional environment.
