Job Description:

Join a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist team at an acute care hospital in Westwood, New Jersey, for an engaging 13-week travel assignment. This role involves providing therapy and rehabilitation services to a predominantly geriatric patient population, including post-operative cases like ACDF, pneumonia, CHF, COPD, and fall-related incidents. You’ll work primarily during 8-hour daytime shifts, Monday through Saturday, with one weekend shift per month. Expect to utilize MBS imaging and other specialized equipment to support accurate assessments. This assignment offers a chance to refine your skills in a hospital setting, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and experience the nuances of acute care therapy in a supportive environment. Your expertise in CCC-SLP, BLS, and modified Barium Swallow certification will be valued and essential to patient recovery success.
