Job Description:

This NICU travel assignment offers a chance to work in a cozy unit with just four beds and three transition beds, providing a close-knit team environment. You'll be caring for a maximum of six patients without the need for additional state approval, giving you plenty of opportunities to develop your skills independently, especially on days when you're the only NICU staff in house. The job involves floating to postpartum and peds units as needed, so a flexible attitude and comfort with helping hands and sitters will serve you well. Expect to use specialized equipment like CPAP, SiPAP, and HighFlow O2, assisting critically ill newborns through 12-hour night shifts. Orientation occurs every other Monday, and the role requires certifications in NRP and STABLE. This is a unique chance to experience a highly autonomous role in a supportive environment focused on neonatal care.
