Job Description:

This travel RN position in Med Surg offers a steady night shift workload on a general medical-surgical unit. You'll be covering 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with occasional floating to ICU or step-down units to assist with overflow. The role involves caring for post-op orthopedic and general surgery patients, with a patient ratio typically around 1:6 to 1:7. Expect to work four days a week, totaling approximately 36 hours, for a 13-week contract near Roswell, New Mexico. The assignment features a rare call expectation, and while floating is required as needed, it is uncommon. Scrub color is royal blue, and you'll utilize Cerner and Mindray Telemetry System EMR platforms. This role is perfect for experienced nurses ready to take on a varied, fast-paced medical-surgical environment where your skills will be essential in providing quality patient care while enjoying the unique southwestern scenery.
