Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Adult Admission Inpatient Unit adjacent to the Emergency Department in Albuquerque. As a Registered Nurse on this telemetry-focused unit, you'll be managing the care of admitted patients from the ED, handling telemetry interpretation, and monitoring various medical equipment. The role involves frequent patient transfers, admissions, and discharges, requiring strong time management and multitasking skills. This assignment offers a unique blend of inpatient care within a setting that operates like a holding area for diverse adult patients, excluding ICU-level cases. You'll float to nearby units as needed and may need to work relief charge shifts. The environment demands adaptability and the ability to respond quickly in high-pressure situations, all while providing top-quality care in a level I trauma and teaching hospital.
