Job Description:

Join this temporary assignment in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) where you'll be immersing yourself in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Your role will involve caring for patients recovering from anesthesia after various surgical procedures, including T&A, BVTs, gastroscopies, and orthopedic surgeries. You'll experience a mix of pre- and post-operative responsibilities, with the opportunity to collaborate with a skilled team and assist with both Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery. This role offers a chance to sharpen your PACU skills, manage patient flow, and ensure safe, efficient recoveries—all while working with top-notch equipment like Vents, CPAP, and BiPAP. If you enjoy hands-on work in a setting where no two days are alike, this assignment might be just the ticket—and yes, you'll be flying solo on some tasks, with support from perioperative care assistants.

Job Specifics:

Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
Shift: 40-hour week with rotating 10-hour shifts (2100-730 AM and 1100 AM- 2130)
Duration: 13 weeks
Hourly Commitment: 36 hours per week
