Job Description:

Join a well-established Labor & Delivery unit in Bangor, Maine, for a 13-week contract as a Certified Surgical Tech (CST). This position offers a unique chance to assist in vaginal deliveries, c-sections, and other surgical procedures within a large obstetric department handling approximately 1,800 deliveries annually. You'll work primarily during 12-hour night shifts, supporting the surgical team during operative deliveries and assisting with the setup, sterile procedures, and equipment management. The role emphasizes surgical assistance and room preparation, providing a hands-on experience in a busy maternity setting that encourages skill growth and collaboration. Expect to be part of a dedicated team that ensures smooth operating room functions while supporting the labor and delivery process in a hospital that values efficiency and safety.
