Job Description:

This exciting travel opportunity is for a seasoned MS/Tele Registered Nurse ready to step into a fast-paced medical and telemetry unit. You’ll be covering adult and geriatric patients, managing telemetry monitoring, administering advanced medications, and performing neurological assessments, all while working 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30. The role involves caring for acutely ill adults and geriatrics, including stroke and infectious disease patients, with a focus on non-acute cardiac and telemetry care. If you enjoy a mix of critical thinking and hands-on nursing, this assignment offers a chance to sharpen your skills in a supportive environment where no two days are the same.

Throughout your shift, you'll leverage your expertise in EKG rhythm interpretation, medication infusions, and neurological assessments. Certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS is preferred, along with familiarity with Epic charting. You’ll work within a 24-bed unit that typically has 16-18 patients and a staffing ratio of 1:5 during nights, providing you with an engaging and rewarding experience.
