Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of emergency nurses at Canyon Vista Medical Center, located in the scenic high desert of southeastern Arizona. This contract position offers the chance to work on night shifts in the hospital's Emergency Department, which features 22 beds and a diverse patient population that includes traumas, STEMIs, psychiatric cases, cardiac issues, GI emergencies, and strokes. As an RN, you'll handle a fast-paced environment with patient ratios of 4:1 for typical pod care, 2:1 for critical care, and 6:1 in fast track. The role emphasizes trauma and pediatric experience, requiring a resilient and team-oriented professional who thrives under pressure. Expect to be involved in rapid assessments, stabilizations, and collaborating with a skilled team to deliver efficient emergency care. Orientation occurs every 2nd and 4th Monday, and candidates must be comfortable working night shifts and fulfilling a 36-hour weekly commitment for 13 weeks.
