Job Description:

This contract position places you in a fast-paced ICU float pool setting, working 12-hour night shifts across multiple units including ICU, MedSurg Tele, and PCU. You'll handle a variety of acute cases such as post-cardiac cath, post-MI, and post-CABG patients, with responsibilities including managing titratable drips like Heparin, Cardizem, and Insulin. The role offers a unique opportunity to refine critical care skills in a diverse inpatient environment, requiring quick decision-making and expert strip interpretation. Expect a collaborative team atmosphere with nurse aides supporting your workflow and advanced equipment like BiPAP and high-flow heated oxygen. If you enjoy a mix of clinical challenge and teamwork, this assignment will keep you engaged while enhancing your ICU experience.
