Job Description:

Join the team at Children’s Wisconsin in Milwaukee as a Respiratory Therapist specializing in pediatric critical care. This contract offers the opportunity to work primarily in the PICU and NICU, managing ventilators such as Servo I and Servo U, Astral, Trilogy, Oscillators, and more. You’ll perform intubations, extubations, suctioning, and various treatments, ensuring the respiratory needs of our young patients are met with expertise. The 12-hour night shifts (1830-0700) include every other weekend and occasional holiday rotations. Float to general med/surg units and EDTC may be required, providing a varied and engaging experience. This role is perfect for seasoned respiratory therapists with 3-5 years of pediatric critical care or NICU experience who thrive in fast-paced, specialized environments. Certifications including AHA BLS, PALS, NRP, WI license, and NBRC RRT are mandatory. Apply for the Act 10 temporary license if your WI license is pending, allowing a faster start.
