Job Description:

Join a reputable academic medical center in Winston-Salem as a Respiratory Therapist specializing in NICU and Pediatric care. This contract offers the opportunity to work in a Level 1 Trauma hospital with a busy NICU and pediatric units, focusing on patients with diagnoses like pneumonia, COPD, asthma, and post-surgical needs. You'll be assigned to critical care areas or medical/surgical floors, adapting to the department’s workload. The role requires hands-on experience with advanced equipment such as Servo U, Servo Air, and high-frequency ventilators, especially in pediatrics. Be prepared to collaborate with experienced lead therapists and to enjoy a schedule that includes overnight shifts. This position provides a chance to sharpen your skills in a high-acuity setting while experiencing the vibrant city life.
