Job Description:

Join a 6 West Neurosciences unit at Mission Hospital, located in Asheville, NC, for a rewarding travel nursing experience during the nighttime shift. This role involves working in a busy Stepdown environment with a focus on neurological patient care. You'll be responsible for managing patient needs on a 36-bed unit, with a team of dedicated staff including RNs, CNAs, and a HUC. The shift runs 12 hours overnight, offering a chance to immerse yourself in neuro-specific procedures like Foley insertions and IV starts, with equipment and electronic records management handled via Cerner. This assignment is perfect for outgoing, self-motivated RNs with ACLS and NIH certifications who thrive in a fast-paced setting and enjoy hands-on neuro work. Experience in neuro cases is preferred but not required, making this an ideal opportunity to expand your skills in a supportive environment.
