Job Description:

Join a specialized Neuro ICU team in Charlottesville, VA, as a registered nurse on a 12-bed critical care unit dedicated to managing patients with complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions. You'll be responsible for providing intensive care to patients experiencing issues such as strokes, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, tumors, and neuromuscular diseases. This role involves working 12-hour days, with every other weekend and holiday off, and offers a flexible schedule that can include up to 40 hours for time off. Expect to engage in high-level assessments, monitor neurological status, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support patient recovery in a fast-paced environment that challenges and sharpens your critical thinking skills.
