Job Description:

Join a specialized NICU unit in Charlotte, North Carolina, for a 13-week travel healthcare contract. This position involves caring for critically ill infants, including preemies as early as 22 weeks, with duties centered around managing ventilators, administering medications, and supporting babies through advanced procedures like therapeutic hypothermia and nitric oxide therapy. The shift is a 12-hour night rotation from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, offering a vibrant work experience that emphasizes technical skills and neonatal support in a level 3 or 4 ICN setting. First-time travelers with at least three years of NICU experience are encouraged to apply, and travelers will be expected to work with a patient ratio of 1:2-4, including float duties across Peds/PICU/nursery. The role requires BLS and NRP certifications, and all equipment and systems used include Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR, and more. This is a unique opportunity to enhance your neonatal nursing expertise while working in a well-supported environment with a comprehensive orientation program.
