Job Description:

Join an exciting travel assignment at a freestanding Emergency Department in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a dual modality DX/CT technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures including digital X-rays and CT scans, often working on high-volume days with around 28 DX/CT scans and 10 ultrasounds daily. Your role involves supporting a team of 2-3 radiology technologists, with opportunities for call during night shifts at two local ED facilities. This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment, primarily during 12-hour night shifts, with an emphasis on quality imaging for emergency cases such as MVCs, shortness of breath, falls, injuries, and DVTs. The facility offers a modern setup with GE CT scanners, Siemens US machines, and Philips PACS, all within a team-oriented atmosphere. Your expertise in both DX and CT will ensure smooth workflow and timely imaging, contributing directly to high-quality emergency care. Experience in a similar fast-paced setting is preferred, but first-time travelers with relevant background may also be considered.

Job Specifics:

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Duration: 13 weeks, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours and an approximate gross pay of $2,259.36 per week.
