Job Description:

This ICU nursing contract in Fergus Falls offers a chance to work with a team managing five ICU beds, providing critical care in a hospital setting. The role involves caring for patients with conditions such as stroke, STEMI, non-STEMI, and TPN nutrition, often requiring administration of drips like Cardizem, Insulin, Propofol, Versed, and Vasopressors. You will be working 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, with every other weekend off, giving you a good balance of work and personal time. Expect to collaborate with hospitalists or intensivists who are in house, and to follow a schedule that may include day or night shifts, with orientation to the specific unit expected in the first one to two shifts. Attention to detail and quick response skills will be valued as you monitor ventilators, manage drips, and respond to emergencies within a high-stakes ICU environment.
