Job Description:

Join a dedicated Neuro Intensive Care Unit team in Wausau, Wisconsin, for a 13-week travel contract as a Neuro ICU RN. This role involves floating between the Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units, managing a variety of neuro patients including stroke, TBI, head injuries, and neurosurgery cases. Expect to perform neuro assessments, bedside ICU procedures such as line placements, intubation, and neuro-specific interventions like bolt and drain placements. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with guaranteed 36 hours each week. The position offers opportunities to work independently in a specialized unit while contributing to patient care in a fast-paced neuro setting. Unique aspects include float requirements across critical care units and the need for resilience and adaptability in a high-acuity environment.
