Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of labor and delivery registered nurses in a rural Texas hospital, where you'll experience a variety of responsibilities across Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, and Newborn units. This role offers a chance to manage high-acuity cases, including high-risk labor and fetal monitoring interpretation, while circulating cesarean sections and participating in neonatal resuscitations. Expect a balanced workload with 1:1 labor patient ratios and 3:1 couplet care, all within an 8-bed unit. The setting demands independence and adaptability as you seamlessly transition between different stages of care in a close-knit facility. The shifts are 12 hours during daytime hours, providing a comfortable rhythm to your workweek.
